The Office of Migration of Argentina, through Provision 758/2022, enabled temporary residence for digital nomads. It is aimed at foreign citizens of countries that do not require a tourist visa to enter the Argentina, for the purposes of working remotely using computer, telecommunications or similar means, in favor of persons domiciled in outside the country.

 

The requirements are:

•  Application note signed by the interested person, indicating: personal data, independent work activity(s) that will be carried out.
•  Brief Curriculum Vitae stating your experience in the field in which you will work, and level of studies or training achieved.
•  Valid and current passport. (Image of the sheet/s with personal data and photo – JPG format).
•  Photo of the applicant (formal photo of the face, with a white background, must be taken at the time of uploading the application, and not the be taken from another photo – JPG format).
•  Proof documentation of the activity you carry out (contract, company endorsement or proof of application for labor demand, certifications or receipts of income or fees) and record at least one reference linked to your occupation.

The process begins remotely by entering the TIE 24H

You have to attach the documentation and data required according to the type of visa you request.

Once the application is finished, you will receive a notification by email with proof of the entry authorization, which you must show to the authorities when you enter the Argentine Republic.

The cost of the procedure is Euros 200 and has an authorized stay period of 180 days, extendable for another similar period.
